McGowan says, "It is going to be really difficult trying to push the trolley while crawling on my hands and knees. This endurance performance is called The Dignity of Man and is part of the Focke Museums exhibition called Manners. People become homeless for lots of different reasons, there are an estimated 100 million people worldwide who are homeless, this performance/art event is an attempt to get people to consider the plight of the homeless and to realise that instead of looking away we need to reach out. I know its going to be difficult to keep going but imagine if you had to sleep outside in the cold everyday and on top of everything people looked at you in disgust. Also hopefully i will get lots of people to go to the exhibition Manners, which is being held at the Focke Museum, Bremen. I will be a sort of crawling homeless advert. I will also be begging for money along the way and will use the money to buy hot drinks and food for me and my assistant. Also i think its quite sad and poetic that homeless people gather at main central stations all over the world.
